Happy New Year! This is the first day of 2020, and the day when we are moving into our new (rental) house. I just wanted to apologise for not being around as much as I usually am in the blogging world, besides packing and getting ready to move I have taken some much needed time off with my daughter, only spending a very limited amount of time online. Here is one thought for the new year that I am taking with me.

Your time is limited, so don’t waste it living someone else’s life. Don’t be trapped by dogma – which is living with the results of other people’s thinking. Don’t let the noise of other’s opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary.

We are about to leave our old residence here shortly, and go to our new house, in a new city. The new house is not in the city, it is outside, but close to the city where I am working. It’s definitely a new beginning. I will spend time visit with each and every one of you this coming week. Cheers to the best year of our lives! Happy New Year!

Love,

Maria

It’s all about experiences, and the healing power of nature. Life is about choosing happiness. I entered the magic world of photography when I was five years old. My gypsy soul have taken me to many different countries, and definitely taught me to be more humble. I believe that you are what you eat, body and soul. I enjoy growing my own food, and spending time outdoors. Above everything else is my daughter. A Sagittarius loves to travel, have an open mind and, and a philosophical view. It motivates them to wander around the world in search of the meaning of life. Sagittarius is extrovert, optimistic and enthusiastic, and likes changes. A lot of that perfectly describes me. The fact that my ancestors, on both parents sides, were vikings, doesn’t exactly lessen my desire to explore. Maybe a slightly more mindful exploring, compared to the average viking. My blog, and my art prints is a results of my (inner and outer) explorations. Love, Maria

So happy you are able to move closer to your work and her school! I’ve been really busy with family celebrating, togetherness, playing games, breaking bread with yummy food! And cats, cats and more cats. I will share these adventures later this week. Take care dear friend! LOVE, Diana

  2. Happy New Year Maria!
I have been taking a mini blog break during the time the college has been closed for its Winter break. Tomorrow I will be back again working.
I have read your latest blog posts and wow what a year 2019 was for you and your daughter. The post about Cottonwood touched me as I guess that is the ranch/house you lived in when I came to visit a few years ago. Glad that you were able to follow your heart and finally move to a better place (Sweden). 🙂
Nice to be closer to work and school for both of you.
    God fortsättning!
