Lens-Artists Photo Challenge #71 – Creepy

I had to think for a few days about  Lens-Artists Photo Challenge #71 – Creepy.  I do not like creepy, and avoid scary movies and anything close to being creepy. I finally decided to settle for these two photos. My grandma was a master story teller among other things, and there were often people getting lost in fog in her stories. Usually adventurous little girls that didn’t listen well when they were out picking berries in the forest, or forgot to come home on time. (I wonder why she told me those stories.) Seeing fog always makes me think of her stories.

I hope you are having a fabulous week so far!

It’s all about experiences, and the healing power of nature. Life is about choosing happiness. I entered the magic world of photography when I was five years old. My gypsy soul have taken me to many different countries, and definitely taught me to be more humble. I believe that you are what you eat, body and soul. I enjoy growing my own food, and spending time outdoors. A Sagittarius loves to travel, have an open mind and, and a philosophical view. It motivates them to wander around the world in search of the meaning of life. Sagittarius is extrovert, optimistic and enthusiastic, and likes changes. A lot of that perfectly describes me. The fact that my ancestors, on both parents sides, were vikings, doesn’t exactly lessen my desire to explore. Maybe a slightly more mindful exploring, compared to the average viking. My blog, and my art prints is a results of my (inner and outer) explorations. Love, Maria

  1. So pretty, and I’m with you I don’t like creepy very much. Your grandma was very smart, made me smile. I have been driving to work in fog this last week as we get lots living near the ocean. Thankfully it’s not blanketed to close to the roads so I can see where I’m going. Sometimes it’s so thick it’s difficult to see but not very often. 😄

  2. Yes, Mother Nature is very powerful indeed! So wise to stop. I’ve been in some pretty scary foggy situations, amazing how you can’t see a thing. I like how the fog surrounds the mountains in your photos!

  3. Love the story about little girls getting lost – clever grandma! Getting lost in the fog on a moor or something like that is really creepy, but also on a mountain. Especially if you don’t know where the path ends…Great photos to accompany your story!
