I just need you and some sunsets. – Atticus
We drove up to the mountains last Sunday, and by the end of the day we experienced a magical sunset. These are the different layers of sunset we experienced displaying their beauty over the high desert landscape.
Dusk is just an illusion because the sun is either above the horizon or below it. And that means that day and night are linked in a way that few things are there cannot be one without the other yet they cannot exist at the same time. How would it feel I remember wondering to be always together yet forever apart?
― Nicholas Sparks, The Notebook
This sunset is enjoyed up in the Spring Mountain Range (NV,) just outside the little community of Cold Creek. Its was actually the first time I visited this area without seeing any wild horses. Slightly disappointing to begin with, but the fresh air, and the magic of the scenery soon overtook any feelings of disappointment.
It’s almost impossible to watch a sunset and not dream. – Bern Williams
There’s new high resolution photos to be enjoyed in my art gallery, including these Joshua Trees reaching up into the sunset.
Thank you for enjoying the sunset with me. I hope you’re having a wonderful week so far.
Love,
Maria

Beautiful beautiful pics, love the light & shadows. I love the character of the Joshua trees they look like animated characters gathering to dance.

I so enjoyed the sunset as I envisioned a campsite with a small campfire at the end of our trail ride. The dreams just continue, I can’t help myself! BEAUTIFUL! ♥️
(You can provide the gorgeous photos and I’ll continue with the story!)
