My friend Trent have a Weekly Smile post every week, where he share positive experiences from the past week, and encourage others to do the same. Get the good energy flowing! There’s so many things to be grateful for, small and big things. I’m doing my best to post a Weekly Smile in the beginning of every week.

This week’s smile goes to the art of photography! LOL. Taking photos makes me happy. I enjoy Equine Photography the most, and as a close second landscape/nature photography. I very rarely do any other type of photography, but to sometimes switch things up a little, is a lot of fun! I had that kind of fun last week. Walking around with my camera in downtown Las Vegas.

While I was busy hating Vegas, and hiding from Vegas, a funny thing happened. I grew to love Vegas. – J. R. Moehringer
I am not sure that I’m quiet there yet, but I am doing my very best to make this time in Vegas into something positive. I enjoyed taking these photos, very different from the sceneries I usually prefer. I might do some more of that this summer, indoor photography, to get out of the heat. What made you smile this week? Please share with us!
Love,
Ms Zen
It’s good to mix it up every now and then. 🙂 Interesting to get your views of Vegas, a city known for its glittery facade. That first spread of housing development made my heart lurch, but that’s because I’m a country girl. 😉 I’ve never visited LV other than quick stops at the airport, so it’s fun to see your POV.
Keep smiling!

I can relate to that feeling of the first photo my friend. I’m actually at a hotel &casino right next to the strip, if I had looked to the right, you would of recognized all the typical Las Vegas buildings.

When I travel I often do architectural type photography, like taking about a million photos in, on and around Notre dame in Paris. There is something cool about architecture and fun to photograph. Most of the time I’m like you and prefer to photograph nature.
Anyway, nice shots. Where you in an airplane or was that first photo from a very tall tower?

I like doing that when I travel too. 2-3 hours in London, or Paris, doing that is fun…after that I want to get out of the city. Lol. I took the first photo at the 52nd floor of Palms Place, a hotel and casino. The elevator up was so fast that I got dizzy.
