Golden Hour At The Grand Canyon

I can still remember my first experience of standing at the edge of the Grand Canyon and looking into it. It was so awesome, it took a fair amount of restraint to prevent me from jumping into it, because I was certain I could fly.  – Mark Goulston

I was so overwhelmed the first time I experienced Grand Canyon that I started to cry. I don’t cry easily..

Have you experienced Grand Canyon up close? What was you reaction? If you haven’t yet, I can highly recommend to put it on your bucket list!

When your spirit cries for peace, come to a world of canyons deep in the old land.

In the Grand Canyon Arizona has a natural wonder which is in kind absolutely unparalleled throughout the rest of the world.

I agree. These photos is of the South Rim, of Grand Canyon (AZ.) Photos taken right before, and during sunset last Saturday.

I loved being able to share this experience with my daughter, and I asked a stranger to take a photo of us. She was very sweet, and happy to do so. And I am very happy that you let me share the experience with you! I hope your week is fabulous!

  2. I never been though was so close, within 20 miles believe it or not. Always a regret that my family didn’t stop (I was a teenager). Though my husband was on a 21 day fire assignment about 15 years ago and he was camped out on the North Rim and had the best views. He had it to himself the entire time, can you imagine that!! Crazy! One of these days I hope to see it.

  3. I’ve only flown over the GC, and it was awesome enough, therefore I can’t imagine being on the ground and seeing it up close. To think it was created over millions of years by a river flowing through it…mind-blowing!
