The clearest way into the universe is through a forest of wilderness.

-John Muir

Fall is my favorite season. I love the cold, the rain, the wind, and being able to long for the sun to warm my body. For some reasons fall triggers my desire to walk in the forest. The rest of the year I prefer wide open spaces, but in the fall I’m drawn to the forest. I took this photo, with the sun gently peeking out between the walnut trees, during one of these perfect fall days.

This week, share a peek of something — a photo that reveals just enough of your subject to get us interested. A tantalizing detail. An unusual perspective. Compel us to click through to your post to find out more!

Love,

Ms Zen

  1. I feel the same way about fall! Born and raised in San Diego, upon moving to Sacramento 30 years ago I hadn’t experienced a real autumn. Followed and look forward to reading more of your posts and enjoying your images!
