Fall is my favorite season. I love the cold, the rain, the wind, and being able to long for the sun to warm my body. For some reasons fall triggers my desire to walk in the forest. The rest of the year I prefer wide open spaces, but in the fall I’m drawn to the forest. I took this photo, with the sun gently peeking out between the walnut trees, during one of these perfect fall days.

Sagittarius is extrovert, optimistic and enthusiastic, and likes changes. A lot of that perfectly describes me. The fact that my ancestors, on both parents sides, were vikings, doesn’t exactly lessen my desire to explore. Maybe a slightly more mindful exploring, compared to the average viking. My blog, and my art prints is a results of my (inner and outer) explorations.

I feel the same way about fall! Born and raised in San Diego, upon moving to Sacramento 30 years ago I hadn’t experienced a real autumn. Followed and look forward to reading more of your posts and enjoying your images!
